Proportional valves are electronically actuated valves for which the output value-pressure or flow - is changed at the same ratio as the inlet value giving the operator nearly infinite adjustment control and flexibility. Control electronics and proportionally designed solenoids are required for actuation. Common use of valves include Proportional Flow Control, Proportional Needle Valve, Proportional Pressure Reducing Valve and Proportional Relief Valve.
